As we start our daily conditioning drills and head out onto the field. I am reminded how important it is for Fathers and sons to spemd time together.

One of the most important things that occur in my kids lives is not being at every game and practice but actually being about of the team as a coach.

Taking on this responsiblity is by far very demanding and even if you never played the sport there is an abundance of free information on the internet that allows you to creae winning teams.

One thing I do find to be very uncommon is when some of us have daughters and not just sons. Who is it that will coach her softball team? Or even her cheerleading squad? SOccer basketball and yes even football.

Regaining Love

Ever looked back at any given relationship and wonder what if anything you could of done differently to make it work.

Would of it been worth working for? What it of worked at all?

The words we choose to use towards our loved ones are words that stick around forever. If one partner falls out of love for another is it really the end.

It’s possible to change who you are and somehow re ignite the love all over. You need two partners willing to work together.

I fell victim to this demise not very long ago. I was told she no longer loves, almost to the point of hating me. For some reason she still would talk to me stop over to see the pets and knowing she is a woman who can hold on to a grudge and say some hurtful words when she was mad.

I hung in there continued to show my love for her and she was openly willing to except. It takes many months’ even years to start out fresh. I use to say I never trusted her and would put her done just so she would not run out to bars. Then I said it was my fears of loosing such a beautiful woman. Knowing how she stands out from a crowd I knew millions of men wanted her but I was lucky enough to have her. Not always deserving but I was happy.

I have to let her free spirited mind be free or she will never be happy. Not to late I realized she may be exposed or put in certain positions that could harm our relationship, and I realize she is a smart intelligent woman with morals and good judgment she knows what’s best for her and I know what’s best for me.

Together we both made minor sacrifices and changes and together we are in love living once more.

I cared way to much and it hurt us, Her ex never cared at all and he hurt them, So for us living in the middle free spirits and trust we shall go a long way.

My wife and I got into a heated debate.

When she was 18 she enlisted and did four years in the Army. She was very lucky and her first and only duty station was at an Air Force Base in Hawaii. While there she managed to meet some interesting friends. Eight years later her and her network of friends are still keeping in touch and take trips together once a week.

Interesting enough not one of them has seen her eight year old son, my step son, since he was one year old and they left Hawaii. She recently drove down to Texas four hours for a camping trip but he was away with his dad. A couple came up to see us and he was away with his Dad. One weekend she went done to see her friend graduate but he stayed home with me. None send Christmas or birthday cards. SO I asked “None of them see ED are you not wanting them around him. ” Her response ” I only get to see them once or twice a year and I can not really enjoy their company with a kid running around” Aside from her friend Holly she is the only one out of a pack of 10 that has a son. Holly is married with two kids and has not gone on any trips to seem them in over 4 years.

I said “Well if they do not come to see him here or you take him to see them their wouldnt that just make them drinking buddies?”

Creating  your Green House, living green is a fantastic way to improve your families health and protect our enviroment for generations to come.

We have three boys ages, 8,9,11 and by involving them in our home compost pile, recycling programs. We recycle not only all things once living except red meat, plastic, glass, tin, and aluminum. Our newspaper recycling is one the kids enjoy the most.

They roll the newspapers in different sizes, than wet the newspaper ( magazine too ) we than set them out to air drive.

In about two weeks the papers have dried tobecome home made firewood for camping and or back yard bon fires.

The clothes we wear are even recycled if they can be handed down to teh next in line they will be if not they are taken to a clothing drop box or thrift store.

We have a household of 5 and we only throw away one 13 gallan trash bag once a week.

ALot better than the 4 or more we use to throw away in aweek.

                Here is an old tip my family and I used every since my better half took us on a river float a few years back. She bought some tomatoes seed oil all natural mosquito repellant. I am all for no deet or any other harmless chemical, but this stuff attracted not only mosquitoes but the largest buzzing bugs I have ever seen,So I discovered a new all natural method that leaves you feeling good and smelling clean.We rub fabric softener all over our legs arms face hair everywhere. Kids are neat and have got to be the most prescious gift a loving wife or woman can give a man. No matter what happens in any relationship it’s very important the two of you remain friends for them. So Dad’s here is a head start at helping that woman who showered you with the gift and birth of life she has given you,. Send her out for the day maybe a relaxing day at an all natural pool and spa or shopping let her decide. Take the kids to the back yard let them decide what corner of the yard that new compost pile will sit. We have to create our own so we can better prepare for our gardens. If you have pets make sure you install a fence around the pile or it will become a pile of luxury treats for the dogs. Everything you can imagine will go into your newly created castle. (No red meats of course.) For me being a vegetarian I can actually toss in any and all left over’s even the uneaten portions of my thanksgiving turkey. Things to toss in from the kitchen and the yard: • Grass clippings and leaves • Egg shells • tomatoes • potatoes • in fact any fruit or vegetable • coffee grounds • even tea bags Besides making your very own yummy soil for your plants and garden most of the soil you’ll get over the next few months or years can even be tilled into the lawn for a all natural fertilizer. Get started let the kids help you along the way. They get really excited about cleaning p the dinner plates and whatever else you sliced up even those un eaten watermelon rinds. They’ll soon be making a game out of finding things to toss into the pile. My younger one my goose even asked me to buy extra lettuce just so he can toss it in. Don;t be surprised when you soon discover turtles, worms and birds hovering around your compost. Don’t worry they never eat much and it’s an added bonus for the kids. This is just a way to getting you started for the awesome experience kids get out of growing their own food, flowers, plant and trees. Being the luckiest guy in the world having the two most lovable boys.

From the time when I tried to explain to them about 9-11 and they commented ” Daddy can we go help, we are good at finding people ” To just this morning as I was waking up to start my dad writing my blogs and columns. They hurried in from outside, ” Hey Dad you have a flat tire, but it’s ok it’s only on the bottom.”

They truly are my inspiration for everything I do, write and say. Having them is better than my moring cup of coffee it’s more like haveing a constant IV drip of caffeine in the veins.

A company in Australia developed a plastic that holds water. One you are done you can either bury it in the back yard throw it in the garbage or stick it in your sick run hot water on it and watch it dissolve.

I find this amazing. No supplier yet in the USA however I am sure with the thousands of companies who use plastic bottles I can only imagine the bidder wars that are going to take place to patent it here in the USA.

Back in NJ we recycle everything we can and even started compost piles in our yard to further do our parts to protect our enviroment and our childens futures.

However when we moved to Oklahoma for school we discovered that recycling was a privledge and will be stopped if people did not follow the rules.

Recycling for many counties and townships are a very lucrative bussiness once they find a market for the product. So they make it a law to recycle. However in good old Oklahoma the state that many people still believe you can pour oil back into the ground in which it came.

Start Smart Sports

Youth sports development the smart start program is designed to bond children and their parents. Through fundamental sports clinics and programs children, mom and or dad spend hours together developing skills and learning the rules of the sport.I started my own programs after researching several sports franchise opportunities and discovered they come with hefty price tags, some as high  as $ 49,000.00.That’s huge compared to starting your own program. To much pressure and not understanding the game. Some kids are just not athletic and prefer to play music or read books. We have annual fundraisers and even started a one page newsletter that has now grown to a eight page weekly newspaper My Hometown News & Sports. Any and all revenue from the fundraisers and newspaper is placed in a general scholarship fund.My vision someday is the have the weekly newspaper and each StartSmartSports.com camps and clinics in every state in the US. Dating this woman for three years now often surprises me when I somehow continue the relationship.

The other day I asked her were she was until 430 am when she had a girls night out. To my surprise she snapped back and said if I am going to question her and be controlling than in order for us to continue I would need to see a counselor.

You may know our past if not re read the previous posts I have here on today.com.

Not to get side tracked but she had the nerve o ask me were I was last night when I stumbled in at 530am. Am I wrong for telling her she too needs counseling.

Now comes the really screwed up part. SHe also said that I need to stop smoking cigars or we have no future either becasue she is wanting to quit and if I keep smoking around her than she wont be able to.

My man response, ” I handle my drinking way better than you so I hope you find it in your heart to stop drinking so I’m not pressured into it”

She called all her national friends and told them I am psycho who is trying to control her. I’m no fool I can sense she’s trying to tell me with out having to do it her and feel any regret or guilt that we are near the end of our rope. Sure I’m upset but not nearly as bad as everyone htinks I am.

We live in Oklahoma for school and my two sons re here in NJ. At 9 and 11 I really think they need me here more than she needs me in OKlahoma.

Should I be concerned that neither of us is that upset about it ending? We often ask each other and hope maybe we can save us some how. Maybe it is t late time will tell.
